Fundora – Kelly unification bout in preliminary talks

Sebastian Fundora’s (24-1-1, 16 KOs) team is in talks with officials connected to Josh Kelly (18-1-1, 19 KOs) for a unification bout, “BoxingScene” reports.

Fundora holds WBC World superwelterweight title and Kelly has the IBF World superwelter title belt.

“BoxingScene” reports that discussions are preliminary and there haven’t been talked yet either about date or venue.

Fundora defended his WBC title belt on last Saturday, defeating Keith Thurman (31-2) by stoppage in round six.

Kelly won the IBF title on March 31, beating Bakhram Murtazaliev (23-1) via majority decision.
