Iglesias set to face Shishkin in an IBF eliminator

Osleys Iglesias (13-0, 12 KOs) is set to face Vladimir Shishkin (16-1, 10 KOs) in an IBF eliminator in super-middleweight division.

Iglesias was supposed to fight Kevin Lele Sadjo for IBF eliminator. But Sadjo engaged in a bout for interim title. Shishkin is now set to face Iglesias, and winner will have chance to fight Saul Alvarez (63-2-2, 39 KOs) undisputed title.

Iglesias’ promoter Camille Estephan in formed in social media about the fight.

“I’m delighted with this outcome,” Estephan posted on social media. “The IBF orders Canelo a No. 1 position and mandatory elimination fight. Iglesias vs. Shishkin.”
