The record-making 4th Art of Boxing Cup recognized new talents in the busy event

The 4^th edition of the Art of Boxing Cup was a busy event in Frankfurt am Main, Germany earlier this month which recognized record-breaking participations.

Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Morocco, the Netherlands, Poland, Scotland, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland have registered to the Art of Boxing Cup.

The Art of Boxing Cup featured in three age groups in Germany such as the women and men elites, the U19 youth and the U17 junior level.

The Dutch team performed well in the Art of Boxing Cup, they claimed five gold medals and their Ismael Inge made an excellent debut at the men’s elite 55kg weight class.

Switzerland also impressed with its progress during the event, especially in the U17 and U19 age groups. England bagged three titles in the Art of Boxing Cup, but Germany, Poland, Greece, Sweden, Croatia, Latvia, Czechia, Latvia, Scotland and Hungary also had champions in Frankfurt am Main.

Slovakia produced several fantastic female boxers in the recent years, and their Nicole Durikova has already eight years of international routine therefore she was able to beat Hungary’s Liverpool competitor Kata Pap in a superb final at the women’s 51kg.

Netherlands’ promising Tara Vogels is a young talent in the women’s elite age group but she had the perfect strategy against a local boxer, Dounia Ifli at the 54kg final bout.

Hungary’s Szabina Szucs was one of the top boxers in the women’s elite part of the event. She defeated all of her German rivals to take the women’s 57kg title in Frankfurt am Main.

Germany’s new face at the women’s 60kg, Rosemarion Otieno claimed her next title while Italy’s Maria Laura Perrotta defeated Hungary’s European silver medallist Regina Lakos in the 70kg final bout.
