Whittaker impresses in the rematch against Cameron

Ben Whittaker (9-0-1, 6 KOs) got his career back in track with impressive TKO victory in round two in the rematch against Liam Cameron (23-7-1, 10 KOs) on Sunday night in Birmingham.

Fight was for IBF International light-heavyweight title.

First fight between them, in October last year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ended in technical draw in round six. Whitakker was unable to continue because he injured the leg when both boxers fell from ring. Until the moment of stoppage one judge saw the fight as draw (58:58), one saw Whittaker in front (58:57) and one saw Cameron ahead (58:57).

But in rematch was everything clear. After a series of punches in round two, referee Howard Foster decided to stop the fight.

In the same event Sam Eggington (36-9) defeated Lee Cutler (15-2).
